The Newt In A Box is just that; a box, from The Newt down in gorgeous Somerset, filled to bursting with the finest produce direct from their estate’s gardens, kitchens, bakery, butchery, creamery and cyder press, plus some goodies from local artisan producers because it’s all about sharing the love. So we’re talking the best of the best fruit and veg and crusty loaves and freshly-pressed cyder made from 100% apple juice (our favourite kind of cyder!) and honey from The Newt’s hives and natural yoghurt from that creamery we mentioned and seasonal cakes from the bakery and soups, stocks and sauces from Head Chef Alan Stewart’s kitchen and did we mention cyder?
There’s no minimum order – which is great, right? – and delivery is free, next day or on the date of your choice. They can’t for the life of them deliver everywhere – we’re talking freshest of the freshest after all – but all of London’s boroughs are covered, as are postcodes in touching distance of The Newt.
