Another new hotel for London’s glittering Soho. Just look at it!

Been down Broadwick Street lately? All that hullaballoo on the right (left if you’re coming from Carnaby Street)? Right by the flower stall, The Blue Posts pub just there, Axel Arigato (nice Scandi trainers!) just over the road? That’s the spot. Wondering what’s going on?

Well *checks sleeves* it’s only going to a brand new – brand spanking new, in fact – boutique hotel, the very first brand spanking new boutique hotel to be designed from the ground up by Martin Brudnizki, who you may know from such blingy classics as Annabel’s and Sexy Fish. We’re calling it maximalism. They might be, too.

The independent luxury hotel will be called The Broadwick Soho (literal is a thing) and takes its inspiration from Soho’s gritty glamour, eclecticism and diverse history. Martin Brudnizki describes it as ‘your eccentric godmother’s Soho townhouse’. He totally knows our eccentric godmother!

You’ll be getting 57 residential-style guestrooms, nine suites, one penthouse (bagsy that!), a rooftop cocktail bar (ditto!) and a street-level Italian restaurant operated by Jamie Poulton and chef Ed Baines, off-of Randall & Aubin just down the road on Brewer Street fame. Which is a nice move.

Opening is slated for September 2021, with rates starting at £350/night.
