The Experimental Group know their onions. Well, they know their booze, if we’re being pedantic, and who doesn’t like a bit of pedantry after midday? And booze. So it will come as music to your bacchanalian ears that the people off-of The Experimental Cocktail Club in Chinatown and Henrietta Hotel in Covent Garden have launched not one, not two, no wait two fancy cocktail, er, things for your pleasure. Or someone else’s! The first is the Henrietta Cognac Club – a limited edition Cognac pack delivered each month for £35, and this ain’t any old Cognac – or, for the more handsy among us, the Experimental Masterclass Club, a quarterly lesson in finessing the art of fine spirits, which is art we can all get behind. The latter’s online for now – the first being a Bourbon class using a premium selection that can be delived ‘Rona-style - but will shift to IRL as soon as the Experimental Cocktail Club opens post-all-this-crazy.
