Christmas at The Lanesborough? We’d love to!

We love The Lanesborough, don’t you? That Regency pile in kicky white that makes the streets of Knightsbridge pop, that was once a country retreat for Viscount Lanesborough back when George I was getting all handsy with the South Sea Company while everyone else was out shopping for bonnets, and is now one of the world’s finest, divine-est hotels. Did we mention they have a cat, Lilibet?

And Christmas – which comes but once a year – is a very special time at The Lanesborough. All the stops? They pull them out. From the festive displays by Dickinson & Doris to the blingy seasonal dining experiences at Michelin-starred Céleste, The Lanesborough is the gift that keeps on giving. Especially if you forcibly suggest one of the following very special Christmas packages to anyone who gives a damn. The baby Jesus would approve.

Festive Shop & Stay
In partnership with Harvey Nichols, you get a festive welcome upon arrival then, after checking into your room – or suite, nice! – you’ll get whisked to Harvey Nicks in one of the hotel’s chauffer-driven cars for a VIP shopping experience (drinks, out-of-hours shopping, Style Concierge team at your beck and call, booty dropped off at your suite by the hotel butler…)
From £735 in a Superior Room £1,035 in a Junior Suite per room, per night for two people.

Christmas in Residence
Sod Christmas at home, do it here instead. Kicking off on Christmas Eve, it’s three nights in a suite dressed up to the festive nines (including a tree!), Christmas carols at St. Paul’s Church in Knightsbridge, a champagne breakfast on the big day (served in bed if that’s your bag), a five-course Christmas Day lunch in Céleste, prime seats for The Queen’s Speech at 3pm, and an exclusive shopping experience at Harvey Nichols on Boxing Day. Santa’s also making a cameo, so get your rollers in.
The Christmas in Residence package starts from £1,195 per room, per night, for two people and is valid on a three-night stay from 24 to 27 December 2020.

Festive Dining Experiences
Immersive dining experiences in Céleste, including the Festive du Jour Menu curated by Head Chef Darcio Henriques. Seriously, look at the pictures!
6 December 2020 to 4 January 2021. The Festive du Jour Menu is priced at £49 per person for three-courses with a supplement of £42 per person for wine pairing.

Christmas Day Lunch
A five-course extravaganza in Céleste and featuring modern classics such as Scottish Scallop, Norfolk Bronze Turkey and an Eggnog Bauble, served with Champagne to get that party started.
Christmas Day Lunch is priced at £260 per person with a supplement of £140 per person for wine pairing.

New Year’s Eve in Residence
New Years is for amateurs… unless you do it here. Check in on 31 December, get squiffy on aperitifs before an afternoon of pampering at The Lanesborough Club & Spa, then the biggy, a spectacular five-course gala dinner in Céleste to usher in 2021. On New Year’s Day there’s a traditional English breakfast (and a complimentary fitness class in the Club & Spa. We’ll be the judge of that) and, more likely, a Peggy Porschen Festive Afternoon Tea served in The Belgravia Room.
The New Year’s Eve in Residence package starts from £1,805 in a Superior Room or £2,395 in a Junior Suite per room, for two people and is valid for stays on 31 December 2020.
