Guest house schmest house? Not once you’ve seen this place in Notting Hill!

The Lost Poet illustration.jpeg

If you’re like us and the term ‘guest house’ conjures up images of someone in Designers at Debenhams running a Blackpool b’n’b on Four In A Bed, then you might not even recognise this gorgeous new offering in London’s bustling Portobello Road as a guest house. We certainly don’t. But that’s what it is, even if the four rooms are all individually designed to reflect the vibrant vibe of Notting Hill, each focussing on one colour, so you have a Pink Room, A Yellow Room etc. They describe it as a poetic love letter to the area, using words like ‘playful’, ‘creative’ and ‘dynamic’ to sum up features like House of Hackney wallpaper and Timorous Beasties fabrics. All the independence of your own flat and absolutely no children ever. Hooray!
